A pilot who has paid the annual subscription and who holds or has held or is currently training for a pilot licence (Australian or International equivalent) or pilot certificate (Australian or International equivalent) issued by a recognized sport aviation organization to operate any of the following: fixed wing aircraft, rotary wing aircraft, glider, hang glider or paraglider, ultralight aircraft, hot air balloon or gas balloon or airship.

Membership is per calendar year.

A student member is a pilot training for any of the aforementioned qualifications and has paid the annual subscription. This class of membership is for a maximum of two years subscription.
